OUR FOCUS

Why leaders in healthcare

Over and over again we meet brilliant medical doctors, scientists, and engineers that are deep experts in their field and excellent at their job. On average, these individuals spend more time at university and in individual contributor roles than their non-scientific peers.

Hence, when their time comes to lead, they often find themselves stretched. Examples of challenges typically include:

  • Communicating effectively with senior leaders, patients, and peers

  • Engaging and inspiring their teams

  • Having difficult conversations, managing conflict

  • Mentoring and developing others

  • Making recommendations under uncertainty

  • Managing larger (interdisciplinary) projects

  • Dealing with pressure and conflicting priorities

  • Integrating work and private life responsibilities

What we bring

We believe we can bring superior value to these groups of leaders because

  • We have a successful history of working with Pharma, Medical, and Engineering leaders

  • We have deep insight into the challenges medical leaders face

  • We communicate the scientific evidence behind our teaching to create buy-in

  • We are ok with our participants being uncomfortable when they practice new behaviors in role plays and other exercises

  • Our 1:1 coaching is the optimal format for

    • Challenging and changing long held beliefs, mindsets, and behaviors

    • Giving leaders the time and individual attention required to process and effect change
